What kind of church are you?

St. George Pickering Village is an Anglican parish church in the Diocese of Toronto. We are a part of the Anglican Church of Canada and the worldwide Anglican Communion, a network of national churches in over 85 countries.

Is parking provided?

Yes, we have a large parking lot, right beside our Worship Centre, with access from Randall Drive.


Can I take Communion?

All baptized Christians are welcome to receive the bread and wine. Everyone is welcome to the altar for a blessing. If you cross your arms over your chest, the priest will bless you. If you feel called to take communion, please come; we will arrange for your baptism as soon as possible, even as soon as later on the same day.

Is the church accessible?

Our Worship Centre has a ramp and accessible washroom. The chairs can be easily moved to accommodate assistive devices and microphones are used for the readings and sermon. The historic Church has one step up into the sanctuary.

How long is the service?

The service in the Historic Church, which starts at 9:00am, is approximately 1 hour. The service held in the Worship Centre is approximately 80 mins, and is followed by a social coffee hour.

What should I wear?

You will find many different styles of dress from jeans and T-shirts to dresses and suits and everything in between. It doesn’t matter what you wear to church. You will be welcome.
