Our historic church building is getting a new roof!

We are very grateful to Robert de Savoye, Chair, and all of the Historic Church Preservation Committee for their dedication and dedication to this project.

We look forward to a great celebration when we are once again able to be in the historic church together.

We have raised a total of $92,500!

“As a result of a successful fund raising campaign, St. George’s has now contracted with a roofing company to replace the aging shingle roof on its heritage church building. The work is expected to start towards the end of May and should take 3 to 4 weeks to complete. We have determined that in order to get the roof done this year, we would need to postpone completing the bell tower section so as to fit within our available budget. That portion of the work would be a further $12,000 due to the need for additional scaffolding and lift equipment. To that end we will gladly accept further donations!!We wish to sincerely acknowledge the support of our many Donors, as well as the Town of Ajax under The Façade Improvement Grant Program.”
