An Invitation to Join St. George’s Choir

Surinder Mundra is Music Director of the choristers and is also the Church organist. It is his task to lead and oversee the music program at St. George’s.

He looks for “Commitment and seriousness; the ability, openness and willingness to learn and develop; an acute ear, the makings of a voice and a joy and excitement in singing while maintaining a high level of excellence, thus drawing the congregation to worship God more worthily”.

The choir will sing at services on Sundays and feast days as well as at exciting special events such as concerts and other activities planned for the future.

The choir’s repertoire will always be expanding, as they learn and perform music that is vibrant and encompasses both the ancient and the modern choral traditions and heritage of the Church. Rehearsals are on Thursday nights at 7:30 p.m.
