In-person worship has resumed once again!

Together, we have been imagining worship with new rules to follow for everyone’s health and safety. One person observed that it’s like the book of Leviticus, with over 600 rules for entering the meeting place, conducting the liturgy, and keeping things clean! Thankfully we don’t have that many rules to follow, but we need to learn to do things differently with great care.

You’ll find all the details below.

If you’re not comfortable returning at this time, don’t worry.
The Sunday service will continue to be live-streamed on our Facebook page.

When will services be held?

In-person worship services will be held as follows:

Sunday, 9 am – Traditional communion service in the Historic Church. Service capacity is 42.

Sunday, 10:30 am – Contemporary family communion service in the Worship Centre. Service capacity is 42.

Wednesday, 10 am – cancelled until further notice

How will it work?

In order to maintain physical distancing, the Sunday service will have a capacity of 42 attendees.

Seating will be assigned based on households, ie. if you live together, you’ll be sitting together.

Due to the limited capacity you will need to register each week for the Sunday service. Registration will open at 9 am on Monday mornings and close at 9 pm on Thursday evenings. Then, on Friday, you will receive a confirmation email.

The diocese is requiring us to collect and retain contact tracing information for all attendees, so as part of the registration process, you will need to provide your phone number, address, and email address. We also have a COVID screening checklist that is now part of the registration process.

The service will continue to be a little different than what we were used to prior to the pandemic. We cannot sing together as a congregation and we will be partaking of the Eucharist in one kind, only. And since we cannot pass the collection plates, offerings will be placed in the alms basin at the entrance to the sanctuary.

How do I register?
